Principle
DC power source, cathode, anode and electrolyte constitute an
electrolytic system. The workpiece acts as the anode, The tool acts as cathode.
A charge exchange takes place between the cathode and the anode in an
aqueous electrolyte solution which targets specific areas of the
workpiece.
